Communication with Families

Staying Connected: Communication at Central Elementary

At Central Elementary, we believe that strong two-way communication between home and school is essential to student success. We are committed to keeping you informed and involved throughout the school year through multiple platforms and routines:

  • Weekly Communication Folders: Every Thursday, your child will bring home a folder containing important classroom, school, and district information. Please review the contents each week and return any necessary forms.
  •  Weekly Automated Calls & Website Updates: You will receive an automated call each week with reminders and highlights for the upcoming week.
  • Social Media: Follow us on Facebook and Instagram for daily updates, photos, and reminders about school events, activities, and celebrations.
  •  Webpage: You can check our webpage, where events are listed on our calendar.
  •  TalkingPoints: We use TalkingPoints, a two-way communication platform that allows you to send and receive text messages in your preferred language. This tool helps us stay connected in real time and ensures that every family has a voice.

If your child is absent and you would like to submit a note outlining the reason for the absence you do that by emailing the following address:

[email protected]

We value your partnership and welcome your questions, ideas, and feedback. If you need to reach us, please donโ€™t hesitate to:

๐Ÿ“ž Call the school office at 302-672-1772
๐Ÿ“ง Email our office staff at: [email protected] or [email protected]

Together, we can ensure a successful and connected school year for every child!
